1.   PLEASE BE ADVISED

Thank you for your time regarding the FAQ. Please be aware that Holiday Cashback has opened for the first time 20th of July 2007

We are aware of a couple of tiny bugs, mainly in the support section and a few graphical glitches. If you find any more bugs Please click here for support.

Please also note that any errors in the website operating manner, website advertising manner, tracking manner or any other manner that the system operates in, we are not to be held at fault or liable for any damage, miss information or any other problem.

This is a free website and as such you are using at YOUR OWN RISK.

2.   What Is Cashback

Cashback is simply a method in which you get rewarded when you shop online. Very similar to your Tesco club card or your credit card rewards. Of course we pay you in cash or goods to the value of your earnings, so we don't make you spend £10,000 to qualify for your free toilet brush like most reward schemes.

3.   When Will I Be Paid?

There are various rules upon when you will be paid.

First you must reach £25.00 in your account balance.

Second we must at the moment, wait until the merchant has paid their invoices. This can be upto two months. Some merchants pay their invoices within six days, sadly some take their time to pay.

Third providing that you have reached £25.00 and the merchant have paid the invoice, your account transactions are marked as paid from the 30th of the month and payment is made usually from the 20th of next month onwards. Please note that depending upon how many payments need to be paid out, depends on how fast you are paid. If for example we have to pay out 100,000 people. we cannot possibly do this all in one day, so it takes time to process payments.

This is too be fair to yourself and ourselves, and to ensure everyone gets paid.

4.   Please Explain My Account Balance

TOTAL CASHBACK TO DATE : This figure includes, pending, holding, void and paid to date totals.

PENDING CASHBACK : All click thrus from your account are set as pending, depending upon the merchant you have a set number of days to make a transaction, this is usually 30 days. If you have not made a transaction, this will remain as pending. If you have made a transaction, then usually we need time to trace everyones transactions, please allow upto 48 hours before contacting us. As soon as we confirm your transaction, then it will become holding.

HOLDING CASHBACK : When you have made a sale, click or lead transaction and we have confirmed this, it goes on hold. It goes on hold until the merchant has paid us, or until you have reached £25.00 for payment.

VOID CASHBACK : The merchant has said that you haven't met a certain requirement such as confirming your account, or following a task, a stolen credit card has been used or a merchant has gone bankrupt and not paid the invoice, meaning that we don't get paid, so sadly you do not get paid, we can only pay on what we get paid.

PAID TO DATE : Everytime you reach £25.00 or above, we issue you a payment via your chosen method. We only make transactions paid once you reach the £25.00

CURRENT BALANCE :

5.   Can I Join Holiday Cashback From Outside The UK
The simple answer is no. All our merchants are UK based and only pay for UK traffic. If you are from outside the UK a lot of sales and commissions will become void via the merchants, meaning that we cannot pay you. If we find an overseas account we reserve the right too close this account and NOT pay any outstanding cashback owed.
6.   Can More Than One Person From The Same Household Join?
Sadly we cannot allow more than one account from the same household, simply because of IP tracking at the affiliate networks, and also the merchants have records of household details when you place your order. Any account that is found too have the same IP address or the same household, will be removed and all commissions will be lost.
7.   I have booked a holiday before from a merchant listed here, do I still earn cashback?

Most companies only pay for new customers, so for safety sake, if we say no, you will not get paid if you have been or are an exisiting customer, this covers both ourselves and yourselves.

Some companies will pay per booking so you can always give it a try as you have nothing to lose apart from possible money off your holiday.

8.   Are you a travel agent or can you help with our bookings?

Please note that we are not travel agents and do not belong to ABTA we are an independent cashback website which simply advertises for different holiday companies.

Due to the data protection act, we cannot discuss your booking/s with travel agents. Once you visit the merchants holiday website, you book via their online 128 bit encrypted SSL servers.

We do not have details regarding your booking or credit card details, and we cannot obtain any information as such.

9.   Do we gain cashback if we book on the phone?

Sadly most merchants do not pay us for phone bookings, only online bookings, so if a merchant requests that you phone them, or if they say that a holiday or service is not bookable online, because we do not get paid for this, then sadly you do not recieve cashback on your booking.

So if you do want to save money on your holiday, you must book online only. If you pass on our website details, it's very rare but they might pay cashback but as we say it's very rare.
